How the Program Works
From application to your three-month decision point — here's the full journey.
1. Apply & Agree
Read the Beta Tester Agreement below, complete the application, and electronically sign to confirm you understand the program.
2. Get Onboarded
Once approved, we set up your account and give you access to your hosting plan and any beta features available in the current cycle.
3. Test in Cycles
New features are released to testers in cycles before public launch. You explore them, use them on real projects, and watch for issues.
4. Share Feedback
Report bugs, rough edges, and ideas through our ticketing system. Your input directly shapes the development roadmap.
5. Decide at 3 Months
After your first three months you can cancel with no fees, or continue with a permanent 50% discount on your plan.

The Beta Tester Agreement
Please read these terms before applying. This is a plain-language summary; the full binding terms are in our Terms & Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility & Acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your province/state) and able to enter into a binding agreement. By submitting the application and signing below, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to this Beta Tester Agreement together with our Terms & Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy.
2. Nature of the Beta Program
The Beta Testers Program provides early access to pre-release features and services that are still under development. These features may be incomplete, may contain bugs or errors, may change significantly, and may be modified, suspended, or removed at any time without notice. They are provided for testing and evaluation purposes only.
3. Term, Plans & Fees
The Always Free plan remains free indefinitely. The Beta 3-12 plan is free for the first three (3) months; after that you may cancel at no charge or continue at a permanent 50% discount on the equivalent standard plan. Participation is limited to 50 testers and is offered at Global Star Hosting's discretion.
4. Confidentiality
Beta features and any non-public information you learn through the program are confidential. You agree not to publicly disclose, demonstrate, screenshot, benchmark, or share details of unreleased features without our prior written consent, until those features are made generally available.
5. Feedback
Feedback is voluntary but encouraged. By providing feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant Global Star Hosting a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into our products and services without any obligation, attribution, or compensation to you.
6. Your Responsibilities
You agree to use the services lawfully and in compliance with our Acceptable Use Policy, to participate actively during testing cycles, to report issues in good faith, and to maintain your own backups of any important data. You are responsible for the content you host and the activity on your account.
7. Data, Backups & Privacy
While we provide backups as a courtesy, beta services may be reset or interrupted, so you should keep independent copies of your data. We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By applying, you consent to us contacting you about the program, testing cycles, and your feedback.
8. No Warranty
Beta services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Service level agreements and uptime guarantees that apply to our standard products do not apply to pre-release beta features during the testing period.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Global Star Hosting is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from your participation in the Beta Testers Program.
10. Termination
Either party may end participation at any time. We may suspend or remove a tester who violates this agreement or our policies. On termination, beta feature access ends; your standard hosting account is governed by our regular Terms & Conditions.
11. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
