Terms and Conditions

1. Services

Global Star Hosting provides web hosting services per the customer's Order, contingent on credit approval.

2. Term

Service begins upon account activation email. Initial term continues for the stated period, then auto-renews unless either party provides 7-day termination notice prior to expiration.

3. Payments

A) Recurring Fees — Renewal notices arrive 7 days before the due date. Credit cards charge automatically 2 days before renewal. PayPal requires manual monthly payment. All payments submitted for services are non-refundable outside of our 30 day refund policy. Accounts become inactive if unpaid after 7 days past due, with $10 late fees applied.

B) Payment Terms — Multiple billing cycles are available with increasing discounts. Within 30 days, customers may convert longer terms to monthly with refund of remaining balance. After 30 days, overpayments become account credits only.

C) Credit/Debit Card — Address on file must match card address for processing. Declined transactions may show as pending but won't process.

D) Electronic Check (eCheck/ACH) — Available for U.S. accounts only. Auto-charges 2 days before due date. Global Star Hosting, LLC is not liable nor responsible for any fees, overdraft charges or any other penalties that may result in a lack of funds when invoices are processed.

E) eCheck/ACH Fees & Penalties — $5 per failed payment attempt (max 2 per month), $35 per chargeback.

F) Taxes — Customers must remit applicable sales/VAT taxes to Global Star Hosting.

G) 30-Day Money Back Guarantee — All new Global Star Hosting Customers are eligible for a 30 day money back guarantee on all hosting packages upon written request, excluding Dedicated Servers, Domain Name Registrations and SSL Certificates. Ineligible if bandwidth exceeded or TOS/AUP violated. Global Star Hosting, LLC reserves the right to deny the refund if we feel abuse of services has occurred.

H) Domain & SSL Refunds — Domains: 3-day cancellation for full refund (minus fees). SSL Certificates: 5-day cancellation for refund or credit.

I) Dedicated Server Payments — No 30-day guarantee. Auto-charges 2 days before renewal. $25 late fee if unpaid by due date. Service terminates and reformats if unpaid after 7 days past due.

J) Service Upgrades — Minimum 30-day or one billing cycle commitment required.

4. Cancellation and Early Termination

Cancellation notice or downgrade of current package is to be submitted to Global Star Hosting prior to the following renewal date or the Customer will be responsible for full payment of the following term.

Requirements: Submit to billing department from primary email on file. Include main IP address and hostname.

5. Cancellation (Dedicated Servers)

Same requirements as Section 4, including main IP address.

6. Law / AUP

Customers must comply with applicable law and Global Star Hosting's Acceptable Use Policy. Global Star Hosting may, in its reasonable commercial judgment consistent with industry standards, amend the AUP and TOS from time to time.

7. Customer Information

Information provided must be accurate. Individual customers must be at least 18 years old.

8. Indemnification

Customers indemnify Global Star Hosting and its officers, directors, agents, and employees against third-party claims arising from service use violating law or AUP.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

GLOBAL STAR HOSTING DOES NOT WARRANT OR REPRESENT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS.

10. Limitation of Damages

Neither party is liable for lost profits or indirect damages. THE MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF GLOBAL STAR HOSTING SHALL BE A PAYMENT OF MONEY NOT TO EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAYABLE BY CUSTOMER FOR ONE MONTH OF SERVICE.

11. Suspension / Termination

A) Suspension — Global Star Hosting may suspend services with or without notice, without liability.

B) Termination — Global Star Hosting may terminate with or without notice. Customers may terminate if company fails materially and doesn't cure within 10 days of written notice. Either party may terminate with 5-day notice if the other becomes insolvent or files bankruptcy.

12. Bandwidth Usage

Monthly allowance varies by package. Overages charged at $20/TB. Account suspension possible for exceeding limits. Customers exceeding bandwidth within 30 days lose refund eligibility.

13. Domains

Global Star Hosting acts as ENOM reseller. Domains expire without renewal. Renewal allowed up to 25 days post-expiration at regular price. After 31 days, domain may auction. Redemption available within 60 days for $125 fee. There is no grace period on domain name registrations.

Domain Cancellation, Renewal & Refund Policy — 3-day cancellation for refund (minus fees). Domain renewal cancellations result in deletion and placement in redemption period. ALL DOMAIN RENEWAL CANCELLATIONS, OTHER THAN CERTAIN AUTOMATIC RENEWALS, WILL RESULT IN YOUR DOMAIN BEING DELETED AND PLACED INTO THE REDEMPTION PERIOD AT THE REGISTRY.

14. Requests for Customer Information

Global Star Hosting may report suspected law violations to authorities and provide customer information to law enforcement or in response to civil legal requests.

15. Backup Copy

Global Star Hosting recommends off-site backups.

VPS Customers: Complimentary snapshots every other day, stored 7–14 days. Cloud Customers: Snapshots every other day, stored 7 days. Shared Cloud Customers: One weekly plus two recent daily backups. Managed WordPress Customers: One weekly plus two recent daily backups. Dedicated Server Customers: Encouraged to purchase secondary drives; external storage available. Unmanaged Customers: No backup services provided.

Customer acknowledges that any backups provided by or for Global Star Hosting services are a courtesy service intended for disaster recovery only and that Global Star Hosting does not warrant or guarantee the availability, integrity, content or operability of these backups.

16. Rebuild / Restore Requests

Two free control panel rebuilds and one free rebuild/restore per term. Additional requests: $10 fee. Partial restorations: $10 per request.

17. Network Changes

Global Star Hosting reserves the right to change its network in its commercially reasonable discretion, and Global Star Hosting shall not be liable for any resulting harm to Customer.

18. Notices

Notices to Global Star Hosting: billing@globalstarhosting.com or ticketing system. Notices to customers via Primary Contact email. Notices are deemed received on the day transmitted, or if that day is not a business day, on the first business day following the day delivered.

19. Force Majeure

Global Star Hosting is not liable for failures beyond reasonable control, including power grid failures, internet outages, natural disasters, war, riots, strikes, or terrorist activity.

20. Binding Arbitration

Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or the breach thereof, shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association. Location selected by Global Star Hosting at dispute time. Arbitrator cannot award punitive damages.

21. Miscellaneous

Each party retains exclusive intellectual property rights. Independent contractor relationship only. Amendments require written agreement signed by both parties. Certain provisions survive termination (fees, indemnity, liability limits, IP ownership). No third-party beneficiaries. Customer cannot transfer without prior written consent.
