Overview

Global Star Hosting provides fully managed services on control panel-based VPS and dedicated servers, with email/ticket support available 24/7/365 through our support portal.

Email/ticket support service is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Customers can access support at https://support.globalstarhosting.com using their billing credentials.

Unmanaged Services

Unmanaged offerings include KVM cloud instances, VPS, and dedicated servers without management add-ons. These services cover only physical hardware management, network availability, and basic support. Additional work incurs charges of at least $75/hour. Upgrading unmanaged services to managed status requires full reinstallation.

Managed Services Coverage

Managed support includes hardware monitoring, network availability, free control panel installation (cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin), OS optimization, security hardening, and account migration assistance. Support extends to operating system troubleshooting and best-effort assistance with third-party applications that don't affect core system stability.

Control Panel-Specific Support

cPanel/WHM — Includes mail services (Exim, Courier/Dovecot), web servers (Apache, LiteSpeed), MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, nameserver repairs, and FTP configuration support.

Plesk — Covers service installation, optimization, upgrades, mail services (Postfix/Qmail), Apache/PHP, and MySQL.

DirectAdmin — Supports PHP configuration, Apache, MySQL, and FTP services.
